Job Description:
esportsdesk.com, a business with personnel in Vancouver and Toronto, Canada, is seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack ColdFusion/Lucee Developer to join our team either full or part time. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with ColdFusion/Lucee, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our ColdFusion-based web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop ColdFusion-based web applications
- Collaborate with team members (primarily in Vancouver, Canada) to help design and implement new features
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code
- Test, troubleshoot and debug applications
- Research and find solutions to questions and issues
- Think beyond the given scope to flag oversights and suggest alternatives and improvements
- Be willing to learn new technologies
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience with Coldfusion/Lucee and web development in general
- Strong knowledge of ColdFusion, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Working knowledge and experience with JQuery, AJAX, datatables, Bootstrap (3 & 4), OAuth 2.0 API integrations (Stripe, Xero, etc.)
- Experience with SQL and database design
- Familiarity with GitHub and version control
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to jump into and learn an existing code base

- Experience with building Progressive Web Apps
- Mobile (Android and IOS) development

- Linux and Docker
- Understanding of various sports
