Job Title: ColdFusion Developer
Location: Washington, DC (Remote/Hybrid)
US Citizenship or Green Card (Permanent Resident) required. Must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Summary:
Analyze design, develop, implement, and maintain code development, working under limited supervision.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/
Experience:
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot custom web applications using Java and ColdFusion technologies
- Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code that meets business requirements.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs.
- Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise.
- Participates in special projects as required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline (preferred but not required)
Experience:
10 years of experience with application development
Required Skills & Abilities:
- 5 years of ColdFusion experience
- 5 years of professional UI development experience (JQuery, Bootstrap, HTML, Javascript, CSS)
- One or more of the following programming languages and concepts: Java, Active Server Pages (ASP), .NET, PHP, JavaScript, MVC, JSF, REST, AJAX, CSS, XML, HTML5.
- Experience with the latest versions of Oracle and/or MS SQL Server databases.
- Working knowledge of Apache Tomcat, MS IIS, Oracle Weblogic, ColdFusion
- Comfortable and experienced with multiple front-end and back-end technologies
- Ability to work well with little to no supervision
Security Clearance Level:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.
